AiMagn School 2025: Magnetic Nanomaterials

20 October 2025

Where: Perugia, Hotel Giò
When: 20-24th Oct 2025

Registration is now open for the 7th Italian School on Magnetism: Magnetic Nanomaterials. The school follows a series of highly successful bi-yearly schools, which started in Pavia in 2012 and are promoted by the Italian Magnetism Association (AIMagn).

The 2025 edition will provide training in the basic principles of magnetism and magnetics through various fundamental lectures. Emphasis will also be put on the latest insights into the development of magnetic nanomaterials and their applications, with lectures focusing on specific topics.

GREENE team member Franca Albertini from the Institute of Materials for Electronics and Magnetism of Italy’s leading public research organisation Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) will be covering the topic Magnetic materials for energy and provide insights into GREENE work and the science behind the project.

The school is addressed to Italian and international graduate and PhD students, as well as to post-docs and young researchers. Students are invited to prepare a poster to present their scientific activitiy.
